One of the benefits of sucralose, according to its users, is that it tastes more like real sugar is useful in baking. However, studies have shown that sucralose may have an adverse effect on the bodyís response to sugar, which could be a potential future increase in the risk for diabetes.
There is a lot of speculation going on still about the adverse effects of artificial sweeteners on the body even some claiming cancer-causing effects. It is important to do as much research as you can on the scientific studies and make an informed decision that is best for you.
